Dr. Phil's Diet
How this diet works: No wacky food combos or food
exclusions here: Dieters are encouraged to eat a wide variety of whole
foods, lean sources of protein and tiny amounts of fat. McGraw devotes much
of his book to helping dieters change the way they think about food. Good Points
Al the vegetarian staples are right here. In fact, they're a big part of the
High-Response Cost/High-Yield pantry No limit on caffeine, diet
soft drinks, unsweetened ice tea and coffee are on the allowed beverage
list. No mention is made of their caffeine content Bad Points
Eating out could be tricky: One tablespoon of fat per day is allowed and
that is pretty skimpy. Dieters should be able to manage, albeit with some
difficulty.
Duration: It lasts as long as it takes to lose the desired
weight. MANAGE
