The purpose of our site is giving you information on how you can use nutrition to survive the fast food lifestyle that we live in along with all the disease that comes along with that life style.   

In the past, a person's life expectancy was lower then today because so many people died at an early age due to infections and accidents.  That changed as infectious diseases were eradiated by antibiotics and other medical advances and because the accident rate was lowered by safety rules and procedures. Now we "live longer", but really most people die a slow progressive death. Most people live with and die of degenerative diseases - high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimers, etc.  Even if you were exposed to toxins, the body could handle it with a healthy immune system. Again, due to poor nutrition.  Cellular malnutrition is a prominent cause of disease. So, what do you need to do....

We believe in is building good health.   When you build good health, disease tends to fade away.  The body needs certain nutrients in order to function and remain healthy.  When you don't get those nutrients in the food you eat, or when you build up toxins which your body has to fight (toxins from processed food, drugs, or the air you breathe), your body depletes itself of the nutrients that it needs to be healthy.   So, what do you need to survive? 

We offer you information on how to start to  improve your health.  We also have our RECOMMENDED feature.  We have researched various vitamin formulas and when we find what works best, we pass it on.   When we find a nutrition book worth reading we will also pass it on.

Who we are and what our purpose is?

We've all heard that the road to good health is to eat right and exercise.   But we also know that the ideal solution of eating only organically grown, balanced foods, getting the right amount of exercise, and living in an unpolluted environment isn't always possible.  (Click here for more info on organically grown foods)

McVitamins would like to offer you information on what vitamins to take to help offset the harm caused by modern living: eating on the run, breathing polluted air or even eating those foods you don't want to give up eating even though you know you should. Okay, you should, but you can start by taking vitamins.  We also are always on the lookout for good vitamins - healthy vitamins - not made in the laboratory that will really create a difference in your health.

What is this website about? We give you information of what vitamins you can take to supply the essential nutrients that you don't get in the food you eat, and what to take to put back the vitamins that get depleted from eating those food that are not so good for you. We give you information on what you can do despite the fact that you smoke, drink coffee, and eat processed food.  We even give you information on what to take if you already have a health condition.  (See our Diabetes or Neuropathy page for a example of this)

Ever find yourself wanting to improve your health, but reeling trying to figure out how to do this?  Have you tried eating better, only to feel worse?  Have you ever tried to understand what you need to know to improve your health, only to find the jargon too difficult to follow?
