What is the cause of your physical problem?

Cause of Your physical problemI often hear the words “genetic” or “idiopathic” unknown cause when a medical doctor is trying to locate the reason a person is sick. I get the idea that it is just something that happens and we are all to live in fear and hope it doesn’t happen to us. The best I hear is that something is linked to the “disease” being talked about, nothing concrete, just perhaps something might have something to do with it.

I’d like to give you an analogy. Say you’re driving down the highway in your 10 year old car. Suddenly it starts to get warm. The car “gets a fever”. You go on a little more and it starts to shake and is very hard to drive. You manage to pull over and call a mechanic to come out and figure out what is wrong with the car.

When the mechanic gets there he does a bunch of tests and then tells you there is nothing to be done – the car has “engine palsy”. He doesn’t know the cause but it is something that happens when the car is manufactured. All he knows is that this sometimes happens and that now some parts need to be replaced – car “surgery”

So you spend another couple of thousand dollars and live in fear that it might happen again.

Or, maybe, it might have had something to do with forgetting to check the oil. Could the lack of oil be the cause of the “genetic” engine “palsy? Do parts start breaking down as they need a lubricant that wasn’t provided?

Way back in Biology 101, we were taught that the body runs on protein, carbohydrates and fats and 40 other nutrients that cannot be made in the body. These are essential fatty acids, 15 vitamins, 14 minerals, and 10 amino acids.

Yet people go on low fat diets or one of many restricted fad diets and more often than not eat processed foods with lots of chemicals in it, sugar etc. etc.

Do you suppose that this fact might have something to do with a non-optimum physical condition?
