Antidepressants Raise Your Risk of Early Death by 33%
Antidepressant medications are sending people to an early grave, according to new a new study from Canada’s McMaster University.
Researchers there examined the results of 17 previous studies that included nearly 380,000 participants. Their analysis found that antidepressant users had a whopping 33% higher risk of death from any cause than non-users. It also showed that antidepressant users had a 14% higher risk of cardiovascular events, such as heart attacks and strokes.
The study has massive implications. That’s because antidepressants are some of the most popular drugs in the U.S. About 13% of Americans over 12 take them. That’s a 65% increase since 1999.
Struggling with Stubborn Belly Fat?
One of the easiest tips for someone struggling
with stubborn belly fat is just to reduce the FREQUENCY of eating. At first it may sound pretty insignificant, but it IS the most important action because of this little peice of data, which Dr. Berg describes in this video.

7 "Essentials" to Relief from Mold in Your Home
By Cesar Collado
Several months ago, I collaborated to produce a simplified infographic to provide an explanation of “7 steps to relief from mold in your home.” The idea behind the infographic was to provide all of the steps that can effectively work together to make your health in your home, an ecosystem in itself, a safe place to feel relief.
When mold finds a source of moisture and food in your home, it must be remediated either professionally or DIY. Nonetheless, mold sufferers and patients with compromised immune systems must be more vigilant to be symptom free. Over several decades, Dr. Dennis has worked to develop a system or process with multiple effective products, where a patient can “Combat Mold at Every Source: Nose, Home, Clothes, and Household Items.”
In the article “Taking Mold off The Table”, I described the process a physician or naturopathic doctor will take to carefully listen to the patients story, tap test their clothes, and blood tests to deduce that mold in their home is an issue. It is up to you at that point! While a multi-pronged approach to mold relief may seem like a little much, the expense and effort is minimal when compared to the debilitating path a patient endures when affected by mold. Chronic painful symptoms, exhaustion, and neurological deficiencies are just some of the challenges. Patients may also go for months, years, or decades seeing multiple physicians and endure multiple diagnosis and medicines in an ongoing effort to get the right diagnosis in the end. Mitigating mold exposure and “taking mold off the table” can provide unimaginable relief for suffering patients coupled with the emotional challenges and financial insecurity that comes with this debilitating chronic disease.
So, this week, I will provide context and additional education behind these steps to aid patients in mitigating their mold exposure in their homes and experience relief.
1. Remove the Mold from your Nose Clearing away mold from inside your sinuses regularly is the single most effective way to gain relief from the inflammatory response by immune system when has when it encounters mold.

Medications with Side Effects of Neuropathy
There are many medications which have a side effect of neuropathy. They might not even be the main cause of neuropathy, but also taking them for other reasons can increase neuropathy, or be the additional reason that a pre-existing situation can become full blown neuropathy with all its pain, tingling, numbness and other symptoms.
This is a partial list that we have created. If you have a question about a drug not on this list go to www.drugs.com or RXlist.com and read the possible side effects of the drug. You also have to remember that it may not list it as neuropathy. It may use the neuropathy side effect such as numbness and tingling, nerve pain, parestheia, etc. etc.
By Type of Drug:
Anti Alcohol Drug
Blood Pressure or Heart Medications:
also Chemo Drugs
Zinc containing creams including Polygrip, Fixodent,
See: Creating Neuropathy with Dental Creams & Zinc Toxicity
Metformin - can cause deficiency of B12 which can contribute to Neuropathy
See Metfomin & B12 & Metformin-Induced B12 Deficiency
Peripheral neuropathy most often caused by the "d" drugs:
ddI (Videx EC)
Other drugs that can often cause this complication:
Infection fighting drugs
- Metronidazole (Flagyl®)
- INH (Isoniazid)
- Skin condition treatment drugs
Statin drugs are designed to block cholesterol. However, nerve cells are made from cholesterol and thus blocking it means the breakdown of the myelin sheath which is the cause of the nerve damage which is neuropathy.- see above under cholesterol drugs.
If you are taking any of these medications, and you have neuropathy, you need to speak to your doctor about getting off of them and replacing them with a natural supplement.
Minimally, your doctor should put you on a medication that does not cause neuropathy.
If you doctor is not willing to work with you on this, you should find a doctor who will.
