Ready to Eat Diet 

How this diet works:

You buy prepackaged foods daily or weekly that provide all of your meals and snacks. You don't need to worry about meal planning or portion control, and the meals are planned to meet most health guidelines. 

Good points:

What could be easier? You don't have to count calories or grams of fat, and you don't need to worry about measuring portions. The meal planning work is done for you. 

Bad points:

These plans are expensive and do not teach us habits for lifelong weight control. There often is limited variety, and if you don't like a certain meal you're stuck with it. 


More information about this diet:

You cannot eat at restaurants and follow this plan.   It is sometimes okay to drink alcohol and caffeine but it is according to the plan you go on.  You do need to buy special foods and it is not for vegetarians.
