The following from Kristen’s Niece

I, Anita (owner of this below blog) just want to say a huge THANK YOU to my aunt for doing the research, for having the courage to cure cancer in this manner, and for her willingness to share it with others. You’re amazing!

About two years ago when I heard the news, that my aunt Kristin had an advanced stage of lung cancer, I was devastated. Everyone who knows her was too. My family immediately started praying for her and offered to help in any way we could. When she announced that she was going to try some alternative therapies I remember thinking that it may just save her life. Here two years later she is cancer free! And we are all beyond grateful. Below she shares her story. Feel free to share this with others who may benefit.

Kristen’s Success Story

Here is Kristen’s write up of her journey:

Alternative Cancer TreatmentsHi Guys (smile emoticon)

This is something I’ve been meaning to do for a long time. I have finally written up my success story and done a pretty thorough write up of my “hat” of exactly what I did including cost and phone numbers etc. Now, when people ask me for advice, I’ll be able to give this to them. It’s a pretty long though, so you’ll have to be pretty interested to get through it! Certainly I don’t expect you to read a 6 page post! Just remember that it’s here in case you ever want to share it with someone. You guys already pretty much know the whole story and the happy ending. Lots of Love to you. Thank you Chris Daino for encouraging me to get this DONE!! Now I can move on to the next chapter smile emoticon

My Cancer Success Story by Kristin Garrett

Cancer is not a death sentence!

Today is June 20, 2015. It’s a little past my 2 year anniversary of “survival”. That’s a big deal since cancer survival rates are measured by the 2 year mark and the 5 year mark. I am happy to say that I recently had a CT scan with contrast and I am cancer free! I feel great. I work well over 40 hours every week and I am getting my life back to normal. It’s been quite an adventure.

People often want to know what my successful actions were. I am writing this so that everyone can know what I know and hopefully this will help someone have the same success as I have had.

As I write this I’m a little nervous. There have been a few doubters in my life and these people can definitely create some feelings of insecurity. However, my story is just too good and too important not to share it with the world. If I can help someone then it’s worth any social challenges I may face with difficult people. Dr Lyons said it best: “If I’m not successful at saving you then people are going to say that “Kaqun” (I will define this later) doesn’t work. If I cure your cancer, people will say you never had cancer in the first place. We can’t go around worrying about what other people think.”

When I first got diagnosed, two years ago, I was completely overwhelmed with grief and terror. It took me a couple of weeks to get my head on straight. I had just lost 2 of my best friends to conventional “treatment”. I was there from their time of diagnosis. I watched them deteriorate before my eyes and I was there the night before each of my friends died.

I had been experiencing difficulty breathing for 3 years. I was coughing all the time. I thought I had asthma and then I thought I had emphysema. I couldn’t breathe on walks. I am a singer and I couldn’t sing anymore without coughing in the middle of a song. Then, I developed a pain in my upper back that would not go away. Pretty soon it was hurting me so bad that I was in tears and I told my husband that something must be very wrong.

I went to the Chiropractor and he had me do an x-ray, and then a cat scan and then eventually a PET scan—which is where they inject you with radio-active sugar and then look at your whole body in a MRI-like machine. Cancer eats sugar, so the cancerous areas light up like a road map from space. Turns out I had a huge tumor in my left lung 8cm long(!) and metabolically active lymph nodes on both sides of my neck. Lung cancer usually moves upwards through the lymph nodes then onto the brain. Luckily, things hadn’t gone that far for me.

After I recovered from the shock of the news, and again, I stress that it was 2 WEEKS…..Here are some suggestions for anyone who has just been diagnosed:

I say this because I don’t think anyone should go to an oncologist right when they find out they have cancer because it’s such an emotionally charged time and it’s so confusing and overwhelming.

You have to be strong and have good information so that you can make wise decisions. This is your life we are talking about here. I promise you, an oncologist will tell you that you have to do chemo right away and that natural cancer cures do not work. Cancer took years to grow to the point where it can be detected by modern medicine, and in most cases, it can wait a few days more while you figure out your strategy. There are lots of new therapies too like gene therapy and virus therapy, etc.

I have several friends who are breast cancer survivors and they all did chemo and/or radiation and surgery, etc. They all feel great about the decisions they made for themselves. This is in no way meant to be an invalidation of them. Everyone should have the right to choose how they treat their own bodies. I respect that. I wish them continued good health. This is my story though and not theirs. I am not an expert and I am not here to judge anyone or prove anything, or argue. I am sharing what worked for me.

The most important thing to do is to take time off for yourself and calm down. Take a lot of walks. Get a lot of rest. Eat a lot of healthy vegetables. Go outside and get some sunshine. If you love the beach, go to the beach. Stop eating sugar & dairy immediately. Take a leave from work if work stresses you out. If not, keep working. Your doctor can write a letter so that you can go on disability and still get your paycheck while you figure things out. I didn’t do this, because I didn’t know I could and wish I would have known.

Don’t allow people to come and spend time with you unless you really want them there in your heart of hearts. This isn’t a time for manners or making others feel okay about what’s happening. Believe me, the weirdest people will come out of the closet and suddenly everyone is a cancer expert. They want you to know how bad they feel or how scared they are. I surrounded myself with my best friends and family only. One of my friends wrote email updates for me. Some cooked me healthy meals. Others took walks with me, etc. I was lucky enough to have neighbors that I prayed with every day and it brought me a sense of peace. It allowed me to sleep.

If you need some help to get to sleep, do it. Get some sleep serum from the website REALLY GOOD STUFF. This will knock you out. Don’t let yourself be sleep deprived.

You are going through the worst personal news possible. You are training for the most stress you’ll probably ever have to face in your life. Sure, there are worse things than cancer, and kudos to those who have survived worse things- like learning that their kid is missing or terminally ill or something like that—but I am talking about getting the news that you have cancer right now.

Of course, I did go see an oncologist and he told me that I had a 50% chance of surviving for 5 years IF I did radiation, chemo and then a surgery. I asked him what would happen if I did not do any of those things and he said I would die. I asked him if he knew anyone who had refused that treatment and how long they lived? He said he did not know anyone because they were all dead.

I saw all sorts of things on the internet. I checked out the Gerson Therapy, and other natural healing methods. I watched videos by Kris Carr—the Crazy Sexy Cancer Thriver. I highly recommend reading her blog and being inspired by her story whether you have cancer or not. There are some very cool cancer clinics in Tijuana and Germany. I visited one called Sonoviv. If I had had the money, I would have gone to one of those places for their programs, but I was flat broke and I didn’t have any credit cards. I also didn’t have health insurance. Most of the clinics cost upwards of $1,000 a day.

I traveled to Clearwater Florida and met with Dr Minkoff. He is awesome and is treating cancer naturally. I was very inspired after my visit with him. I could not afford to do his program either, but I would highly recommend it. I also wondered into Dr Charles Kwang’s office in Los Angeles one day when I was particularly freaked out and he calmed me down and told me that I was not going to die and that cancer was totally and completely treatable. I didn’t do his detox program through.

My goal was to find someone who had survived cancer and was living and doing well, without doing Chemotherapy. I called upon all of my friends to find people who I could talk to me. I didn’t want to talk to someone who knew someone who knew someone. I wanted the real deal. I finally found ONE PERSON. He was a patient of Dr Nicholas Gonzalez, in New York. He does enzyme therapy. That person gave me hope that something was out there. He gave me strength to continue to look for answers.

A good friend insisted I read the book:
CANCER FREE, YOUR GUIDE TO GENTLE NON TOXIC HEALING. By Bill Henderson and Dr Garcia.

I read that book cover to cover and I did the WHOLE PROGRAM IN THE BOOK. I also recommended the book to a friend’s sister who was diagnosed with lymphoma, she did the whole program, and guess what? She made a full recovery too!! I cannot say enough good things about this book. This book will tell you everything you need to know to get rid of cancer and give you a detailed description of every natural healing method out there. I think everyone should just read it. It’s like doing a CPR class. Sooner or later, with 3 out of 5 people being diagnosed with cancer, you’re going to need the information contained in this book.

After reading the book, I chose not to have a biopsy done. The reason I chose this is because I believe that puncturing a tumor with a needle is a great way to spread cancer throughout one’s body. I knew for sure that I would not be subjecting myself to Chemo so there was no reason for me to find out what “type” of cancer I had so that the oncologists could figure out what “type” chemical therapy they would prescribe for me. This is controversial to say the least, but I knew I was doing the right thing.

My Chiropractor, Dr. Alf Garbutt, told me that he had a met a doctor from Hungary who was treating cancer patients with oxygen water. He told me that that’s what he would do if he had cancer himself, or if his daughter was diagnosed with cancer he would send her there. He said the doctor had a 65% success rate. I was really skeptical. That doctor, who turned out to be Dr Robert Lyons, happened to be in Los Angeles the next month for a seminar. I went to his seminar and I met him. He put his hands on my shoulders and he looked into my eyes with a lot of intention and he told me to go home and pack my bags and meet him in Hungary. He was going to save my life. I listened to him. I went home and my husband and I booked a flight to Hungary the next day.

I did his program it’s called KAQUN water. It’s water that has had the some of the hydrogen removed, so it’s no longer H20. It oxygenates the body. It boosts the immune system so that the body can handle cancer cells naturally. You drink the water, and you bathe in it for 3 one-hour sessions each day for 12 weeks. You can go to Google and you can look up Dr Robert Lyons and Kaqun. You can see my other doctor, and his partner, Dr Sandor Kulin.

I did a very extensive nutritional program with my Chiropractor, Alf Garbutt, in Tujunga, CA. 818 248 5570. I have never taken so many supplements in my life. I took them with me to Hungary and I did that program concurrently with the baths.

I stayed on the Budwig diet recommended in the book Cancer Free Your Guide to Gentle Non Toxic Healing for 1 ½ years. In the book, Bill Henderson lays out a huge vitamin program. I took all of those vitamins.

I noticed that some of the people at the baths continued to eat sugar and drink beer and eat bread. A couple of those people are no longer with us today. I cannot be sure that their diets affected their survival, but I know that cancer eats sugar. That’s a fact. If you want to starve cancer cells you can’t be feeding them sugar. Bread turns to sugar. Same goes for alcohol.

People ask me again and again about the cost of each thing I did, so I am including the prices here. The airfare costs between $1,000 and $2,500 round trip depending on when you buy your ticket. You can stay somewhere for about $50 US a day. Food is the same cost as here. Lots of people speak English and it is not hard to get around.

The baths cost between $80 and $100 a day total—not each bath, depending on which facility you go to. You will do three baths a day for two weeks—that’s 42 baths so that is $1400. Then, you have a 10-day break. You can do whatever you want during the break. It’s a great chance to see Europe – there is a lot to do. I did three “rounds” of baths on my first trip. A round is two weeks. Three rounds of baths is going to cost you $4,200. The doctor might want you to do four rounds, etc.

I also did a form of radiation called Onco-Thermia. I did about 20 sessions of that. I copied and pasted the Wikipedia on Onco-Thermia below to explain what that is. I paid about $100 cash US each time I did it. So that was $2,000. This is a very gentle form of radiation and there are no burns involved. It cooks the tumor from the inside out. Unfortunately, the doctor who had that machine had it taken away by the Hungarian version of the FDA. I think there are still some places that have it in Germany and in Canada. I really think this was a very integral part of my recovery.

Half way through the program, Dr Lyons told me that we were going to do another pet scan. He said that if things hadn’t changed dramatically, that even he would suggest I go home and do Chemo and come back. He said that the baths with Chemo work very well together and that the side effects would not be bad, etc. I told him there was no way I was doing that, but we made a deal I would listen to him if push came to shove. Luckily for me, I continued to have stellar progress and each scan was better and better so I never had to do that. I saw other people do chemo after the baths and they seemed to do very well.

I also did an oxygen suppository program. It was originally developed to cure AIDs believe it or not. It’s not widely known about in Europe or in the US. It’s kind of a hidden thing, probably because it’s so expensive for most people. It’s $8,000 a month. The suggested dose is a three-month regimen. I could only afford to do one month. I feel that this was very effective too.

I went to biological dentist, who is a special dentist, and I had all of my mercury fillings removed and replaced with composite fillings. I went to a dentist here in the US for an estimate and she was going to charge over $15,000 to handle my teeth. I know there are good dentists in Mexico who do this for around $5,000 instead. I had my dental work done in Hungary while I was there. Europeans actually travel to Hungary for dental “vacations” because Hungary is known for its quality inexpensive dental work. I am not sure that the work I had done is the greatest, honestly. So I will just say that you should do your research about this. Again, all of this is covered in detail in the book, Cancer Free…

The only way I was able to afford all of this “alternative” treatment was by the graces of the good people I have come to know over the course of my lifetime. Many family and friends donated money to my cause through a Go Fund Me Site set up by one of my co-workers. Jaynee Thorne of Starlight Concerts set up a concert and fundraising raffle through Sweet Relief and many musician friends played there. People donated things for the raffle, there was even a Martin Guitar. I could not be there of course, because I was in Hungary. My boss donated his frequent flyer miles for our airfare all three trips. In all, $27,000 was raised and that was enough to get me through these past couple of years of treatments. Since then, I have made it a priority to save money aside for an emergency and I have been able to donate money for others to go to the baths.

I have been to Hungary 3 times now. The first time was in June 2013 for four rounds of baths. The next time was April 2014 for three rounds and most recently I was there for two rounds of baths and I just got back to the US on April 22, 2015. I will probably continue to go each year to ensure that I stay healthy and cancer free. I believe that Cancer is a chronic condition rather than an acute one and it takes daily action to stay healthy just like diabetes. I believe that the symptoms of cancer can be reversed and controlled for a life time.

I truly believe that the ADULT ONSET OF CANCER IS STRESS. (I am not talking about babies who are born with a brain tumor etc). You have to get the stress out of your life. Stress suppresses your immune system and allows bad things to happen in your body. You must address the emotional component of why you would get cancer in the first place. As I said before, I prayed A LOT with my neighbors and people from everywhere prayed for me and that is so powerful. The bright side of all of this is that cancer brought me back to God and some of the religious values that I was raised with as a child. I am still exploring this part of my life right now.

I also got about 20 hours of Dianetic Counseling. I did this at the Church of Scientology Mission of the Foothills in Montrose CA. 818 957-1500. I realize that Scientology isn’t for everyone, but it works for me, and I really discovered and explored some core reasons for my illness. I was able to work through a lot of emotional trouble I was having. Whatever your belief system may be, you must address the emotional crisis that allowed your immune system to be compromised in the first place. I think this is the key to true healing.

I have relaxed quite a bit on my diet since I got a clean bill of health. I wouldn’t suggest doing this though! After all, cancer should be treated as a chronic situation and really it’s not that hard to stay away from sugar and animal products! I’m really trying to stay on the program I’ve been on that helped me regain my health. I also continue to get IV therapy and ozone therapy at Oasis Medical Center in Montrose California, 818 957-6909. I eat at Whole Foods a lot! I try to have green juice every day. I also did coffee enemas for a short time there, and I found that to be very helpful. I plan to continue those as well. All of this is covered the book.

Lastly, I continue to drink a bottle of Kaqun water every day. Studies show that when you drink the Kaqun water your vitamin C levels stay extremely high, which could be why it helps to keep cancer cells down. Normally when I go to the doctor my oxygen level is a consistent 98 or even 99. I skipped the water for a week, and the other day when I went to get an IV my oxygen level was 96. The water is imported from Hungary. It’s $15 a bottle unless you buy 100 at a time, then the price goes down $11 each. Most of that cost is just shipping and delivery. The water is only $2 a bottle when you’re Hungary. Hopefully they’ll get a plant over here sometime soon.

Thanks for reading this! I wish you a long, healthy and happy life!! Please feel free to share this with anyone you think would benefit from reading it.

Love

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

Oncothermia
Oncothermia, i. e. the modulated deep electro-hyperthermia system is a fast-developing supportive, complementary treatment method against different types of tumors. The principles are based on the classical method of hyperthermia, but the aim, beside the absolute increase in temperature, is especially the direct electric-field energy absorption in the extracellular liquid and destroying the membrane of the cancer cells. Oncothermia’s effect is synergic to radiotherapy and to numerous chemotherapies. Furthermore, it leads to an increased immunogenicity and effectively reduces the pain of the patient.

Hyperthermia has been described as the “oldest identified weapon against cancer.”[1]

It has been used since at least 1989.[2]

Oncothermia in general is not used as sole therapy. It is usually combined with chemotherapy, radiotherapy or other therapies and their combination. The method transfers energy using the principle of capacitive coupling (like a condenser) of radio waves of 13,56-MHz. No external shielding is needed. Oncothermia utilizes the special absorption rate of the near-membrane extracellular liquid of the tumor. The tumor tissue has lower impedance than the surrounding tissues, so most of the energy is transmitted and absorbed by the cancerous lesion. This selection of the tumour tissues (self-focusing) renders external focusing unnecessary.

Oncothermia achieves a permanent increase of the temperature in the extracellular liquid of the tumour tissue. Due to the constant energy-supply, a temperature gradient (temperature drop) between the extra- and intracellular electrolytes develops until the thermal equilibrium is reached at the end of the therapy. This (in absolute numbers very low) temperature difference acts on the likewise small distance through the cellular membrane (from extra- to intracellular) and that leads to a destabilizing thermal stress on the membrane of the tumour cells, leading those into necrosis or apoptosis.
