What is a Healthy Diet?

Understanding and eating a healthy diet is the most important thing.

Deficiencies that lead to disease can be supplemented. Sometimes it takes a lot of specific nutrients due to the fact that the body is so badly depleted that it has started to malfunction.

But, the way to really get good health is to eat the foods that the body needs.

Bodies do not work on chemicals such as preservatives and flavor enhancers. They do not work on pesticides or any of the other varied things you can find in processed foods or even in poorly grown or GMO (genetically modified foods) fruits and vegetables. The body also doesn’t work on chemicals such as drugs, nor does it thrive well with the toxins that are in the environment (found in cleaning solvents, pesticides or even the air we breathe).

Underlying this is the fact that when toxins or bacteria or viruses are introduced into the body, they should be handled by the immune system. If the body’s immune system cannot fight off these health opponents, you have problems. Again, a compromised immune system results from lack of what the body needs to successfully create a healthy body.

You can take supplements. You can get help for your immune system and fight off the toxins with antioxidants. However, eating a healthy diet is most important.

The Underlying Reason

You will notice that all health conditions have some failure of some system or organ to function properly. What do the individual organs and body use to function and repair? Protein, fats, carbohydrates are macro nutritents.  Vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, amino acids are important. Where can you get all of these? – Food.

“Leave your drugs in the chemist’s pot if you can heal the patient with food.” – Hippocrates, “The Father of Western Medicine,” 460 BC.

The foundation of good health comes from a good healthy diet that will hold all these things in place. Putting real food into the body is the way to undercut having to constantly fight for your health.

You’ve no doubt heard that you should eat a “healthy diet”. It is usually a vague term that each person can have a different definition for.

First, a healthy diet is a diet of real food. Real food comes without preservatives, chemicals and is unprocessed. So, if you are looking for gluten-free, go to the produce department. Produce is gluten-free. In anything you buy to eat, read the labels. Make sure nothing is in the food you purchase except food.

We have been researching, breaking down, and compiling the best diet and healthy alternatives so you can build the health you desire.   We found a great diet nutritional training course that we want ot make known to you if you have any question about what to eat.

So, we find that the body needs certain nutrients. The nutrients it needs can be found in food. Getting a diet is a matter of working out what you need and getting the list of the foods that supply those nutrients and working your menus around that.  Read on.

And you want to change on a gradient. You won’t be told to eat things you don’t like and never in small amounts that leave you hungry.

Part of the program is evaluating and working out what needs support so you can balance out the body and start on the road to real health.

Yes, we want you to eat for health, not for your taste buds, but I think you’ll find the amount of energy you get, and, if you are overweight, the amount of weight you will lose will convince you to eat for your health.

By the way, overweight is just a symptom of bad health. You don’t lose weight to get healthy. Build good health and you will lose weight.

Meanwhile, it won’t hurt to supplement your current diet with good whole food or food-based vitamins and minerals.

Start with training on what the different aspects of good health is so that you know what to eat with no question about what a “balanced diet” is.

Get the basics and then you can build on it.   The Eat Well Nutritional Course educates a person in the basics of how to eat a good diet that will build good health.

Metabolism is a generic word for EVERY chemical process in your body from energy production to cellular reproduction and fighting off disease.

If you have high blood pressure, high blood glucose, insulin resistance, high cholesterol, excess weight around the waist you have a metabolic disorder – an imbalance or deficiency – that negatively affects the way your body functions.
